PARAGON Name New CD, Prepare To Enter Studio

March 14, 2003

German melodic metallers PARAGON have set "The Legacy" as the title for their follow-up to last year's critically-acclaimed "Law Of The Blade" CD for a tentative July release through Remedy/Zomba Records. The band will enter the studio in late March to record 10 songs plus a remake of "Into The Black" from "World Of Sin" as a bonus track for the limited edition of the upcoming album.

Among the songtitles set to appear on "The Legacy" are the following:

01. The Legacy
02. The Mirror
03. Maze Of Dread
04. In Thy Hands
05. Green Hell
06. Eye Of The Storm
07. Breaking Glass

According to PARAGON bassist Jan Bünning, the forthcoming CD will include "the fastest PARAGON song ever which can be described as a mix of ANNIHILATOR and SLAYER."

Prior to the release of "The Legacy", PARAGON will issue an EP containing a different version of "Eye Of The Storm" and one of the bonus tracks which didn't made it onto the vinyl editions of "Law Of The Blade" or "Steelbound".

Upcoming PARAGON tour dates:

Apr. 11 – Hamburg, GER @ Headbanger's Ballroom
Apr. 17 – Lübeck, GER @ Alternative / Treibsand
Apr. 19 – Motala, SWE @ Motala Metal Fest
Apr. 24 – Borken, GER @ Vennehof (w/ WIZARD)
